TableNine was formed in 2004 by a small group of people who just wanted to make good theatre and have fun doing it.

We aim to offer audiences new and exciting experiences, so we specialise in performing great plays that are rarely performed by other groups.

Our most recent productions include 'Harry' two hilarious one act plays about blokes called Harry and a unique cabaret evening of entertainment

'A Room With A View'

We teamed up with the very talented SHP piano ensemble to create an evening of wonderful music by Gershwin, Rogers & Hart, Chopin and others, together with classic comedy and drama from Alan Bennett, Victoria Wood, John Godber and Noel Coward to name but a few.

In November 2006 we performed

'The Extraordinary Adventures of Mr Sherlock Holmes'

This wickedly witty delve into the delightfully dark underworld of Holmes' London, was based on two classic Holmes stories 'The Speckled Band' and 'The Veiled Lodger'. It was put together by the company during six months of writing, researching and rehearsals.

The Studio Theatre at South Hill Park was transformed into an old Victorian Inn where the audience met a roughshod band of storytellers gathered to tell tales of murder,

mystery and revenge.

Our plans for the 2008 include a dramatic re-staging of The Extraordinary Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in the Wilde Theatre at South Hill Park.

Look out for further details soon....
